FEATURED TRUCK
Dale Heser’s 1966 Chevrolet C80 was nominated by Richard Laiho as our 2024 Dash Plaque Truck. Dale purchased this truck in 1972 when starting D. D. Heser Construction. It is equipped with a V-8 366 Engine and a five-speed transmission and two-speed rear end. Over the years, Dale has added newer trucks to his fleet, but the 66 Chevy will always be special to him. It might be slower and not have the creature features as his newer trucks have, but it will always be special to him. It reminds him of a simpler time when there were fewer regulations and working for $9 an hour was a good rate. Dale’s newer trucks are meticulously maintained just like this 1966 Chevy is. People who do not know trucks, think all Dale’s trucks are new.
