Welcome to the Nutmeg Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society. Our members are dedicated to the restoration, operation and use of antique trucks. We strive to foster a greater public interest of the history of antique trucks and their role in the growth of our country’s industry and transportation system. We are active participants in area antique truck shows, meets and tours. We invite you to join us.
The Nutmeg Chapter is the local chapter of The American Truck Historical Society which was formed to preserve the history of trucks, the trucking industry and its pioneers. The ATHS is an international organization with more than 21,000 members in the United States, Australia, Canada and 20 other countries worldwide.
The ATHS logo has an interesting background. It was designed to bring together important
elements of the trucking industry. The shield represents the shape of Federal Highway
Markers. The wheel symbolizes the momentum of our great industry while the bold
stripes signify the open road. The colors -
